The League of Women Voters of Central New Mexico is hosting two special showings of the 2016 movie, “Equal Means Equal”, a documentary on the status of women in the United States.
These showings are co-sponsored by the Albuquerque chapter of NOW, the National Organization for Women, and Indivisible Nob Hill. Proceeds will go towards getting the Equal Rights Amendment (ERA) passed.
The Guild Cinema (3405 Central NE) will show “Equal Means Equal” on Sunday, January 19 and 26, at 1:00pm. Tickets are $10 each and can be obtained at the League of Women Voters office at 2315 San Pedro NE in Albuquerque (open from 10-noon Mondays through Fridays – phone 884-8441), or you can buy online here.
Be sure to enter your contact information, so we can get in touch with you to resolve any problems or discuss how you will get your tickets. We also need a list of all the names for the tickets ordered, to make sure they’re given out to the right people. The entry field looks small, but should hold up to 200 characters.
You will receive a confirmation email. Please bring it with you to the Guild Theater with you.
NOTE! Paypal will insist that you select the “create Paypal account” button. However, when you do, you will have the option to simply enter your credit card information without having to create a separate Paypal account. Just read and select the options carefully. The ones you want will be in smaller type and easy to miss.
We apologize for the lameness of this option. It works, but takes some, er, work.
Tickets may (or may not) be available at the Box Office just before each showing. Why take a chance? Reserve your seats NOW!
