Communities in Sandoval County have not opted in to the Local Elections Act. Municipal elections in Bernalillo, Rio Rancho, Corrales, Cuba, San Isidro, and Jemez Springs will be held in March 2022

Normally, these are small independent elections, but they were drawn into the Consolidate Municipal Election on November 2. They will be filled by default by Rio Rancho Mayor and City Council Appointments.
